Key Features & Construction

Material: Knitted fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate, coated with High Grade Silicone Rubber.
Purpose: Designed to protect hoses, wires, and cables from high heat and occasional flame.
Fluid Resistance: Highly resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels.
Versatile Use: Allows for “bundling” of wires, hoses, and cables.
Energy Efficiency: Insulates against energy loss in piping and hosing.
Safety Benefit: Protects employees from burns.

Thermal & Performance

Continuous Protection: Protects continuously up to 260 degree C / 500 degree F.
Molten Splash Resistance: Withstands a molten splash at 1200 degree C / 2200 degree F.
Braided Version Advantage: Qualified hose assemblies using the braided version can pass AS1055D testing under specified flow and pressure conditions.
